The official venue of the 43rd session of the World Heritage Committee is Baku Congress Centre. Baku Congress Center is a multifunction complex located in Baku with the auditorium for 3,500 visitors. It was designed to host international events, banquets, presentations, concerts, trade shows, and meetings. It is situated near the Heydar Aliyev Center – building complex designed by Iraqi-British architect Zaha Hadid and noted for its distinctive architecture and flowing, curved style.
